Ohh Emm Gee.. I totally forgot to show off my new shoes. Went to an Outlet Mall on Black Friday (scary stuff) … and found some no name shoe store which had the Vibram Minimus Trail that I really really really wanted. I tried them on at Fit-2-Run last weekend and wrote down all the specifics to put on my Christmas list. They were $125 at Fit2Run. On sale for $65 here! But OF COURSE they did not have them in my size. What the EF!? Talk about disappointment.
So as we were leaving we stopped at the Nike Outlet. Ended up finding these which I love. They are super comfy and light. I don’t love them as much as the Vibrams but they get the job done. And are pretty bad ass looking. I’m tired of the girly pink. Yellow is IN!

Clean 135 pounds #65
Ring dips #box dips/banded ring dips

After party - 1 mile run. Not sure of time.
Last nights WOD “Elizabeth” involved squat cleans. Mondays WOD included Power Cleans. Which I think are my second favorite lift. Deadlift #1.
So anywhos.. I had a hard time with these. It was like a slow motion power clean then deep breath and slow front squat then huge struggle and burn on my inside thigh to stand up from my squat. Holy crap. And it was only #65.. but is actually the most I have ever power cleaned.
And then coach showed me banded ring dips. The first time was kind of painful. Of course I snapped the band against my shins and almost fell 2 feet to my death. Very traumatic. Not to mention the coach was standing directly infront of me holding the rings together and oh-so-close to my hot breath and sweaty fat rolls. Self concious much?
But I survived. And felt like DA BOSS after. Thats right… DA BOSS.

Run 400 meters
30 Overhead squats #35 bar
21 Pull-ups (green and orange)
I really struggled today. I haven’t been eating well the past few days. Too much sugar and not enough protein. I kept getting really dizzy and thought I was going to black out. I’ve been home an hour now and still feel disoreinted. Looking back I’ve only had about 500 calories today. So I guess it makes sense why I feel like shit.
I didnt even look at my time… I just wanted to go home. Blahh.

a short video clip on what NOT to do in a crossfit gym.
‘the ghost rider’ cracked me up. i see quite a few people at the gym who just fling their shit anywhere they please once they finish their workout. yes, we understand your body is wrecked after, but please show a little respect for the peers around you who are still trying to finish the workout and dodge your projectile equipment at the same time.

Are there any devices that track calories burned with non running activites such as CrossFit, spinning, etc..
